Silicone membranes are thin, flexible transparent sheets made of quality silicone rubber. They are used for vacuum forming solid surfaces, thermoplastics and similar composite materials. Thanks to their high temperature resistance and elasticity, AL1121 has proven suitable for woodworking and thermoforming applications.

 

Our silicone membranes have built a good reputation worldwide for their high elasticity and durability. The silicone membrane is versatile due to its ability to withstand high and low extremes with its broad working temperature range. Unlike natural rubber membranes, our silicone rubber membranes are available in different durometers, as well as smooth or textured surfaces, ensuring that each customer can find the correct silicone membrane for their veneer pressing, wood bending, and composite materials lamination application.

Applications

• Vacuum presses and laminators with high temperature resistance upto 200°C. Membrane presses with negative positive pressure.
• Laminating of veneer, leather and paper. PVC film foiling. Production of bent glued furniture parts.
